Although Jones’s exact cause of death is yet unknown, the renowned actor has previously discussed his 20-year struggle with type 2 diabetes. In an open interview from 2018, Jones disclosed that, like many others, he learned of his diagnosis by chance.
He said, “I didn’t notice any symptoms.” “I had gone to a diet and exercise program hoping to lose some weight and ended up falling asleep sitting on a bench in the gymnasium.”
