The girl married an old man, she was scared so she went to bed early,

As Elena lay there, her heart pounding with anxiety, she felt the gentle weight of Mr. Hugo shifting beside her. Instead of the dreaded touch she had feared, there was only the soft brush of fabric as he carefully tucked the blanket more securely around her shoulders. Then he moved quietly to his side of the bed, leaving a respectful distance between them. In the corner of her eye, she saw him place a small book on the bedside table. Curiosity stirred inside her, replacing some of the fear she had carried. Slipping out of bed, she felt the soft carpet beneath her bare feet as she made her way downstairs. In the kitchen, Mr. Hugo stood by the window holding a cup of coffee, quietly looking out at the garden. The morning light revealed the silver strands in his hair and the lines on his face, but there was a quiet gentleness in his expression that Elena hadn’t noticed before. When he turned and greeted her with a warm smile, something inside her shifted. As they shared a simple breakfast and quiet conversation, Elena realized that the man she had feared might be someone very different from what she had imagined—and for the first time, a small spark of hope began to grow within her.
