The individual, a 59-year-old palliative care specialist from the St. Petersburg area, is accused of producing harmful content and coercing minors into dangerous and explicit activities over the internetAccording to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice, the physician has been indicted on multiple counts, including the production of child sexual abuse material and attempting to entice minors into engaging in sexual acts. If convicted, he faces a potential sentence of life in federal prison.

Court documents allege that the defendant used an anonymous online identity to contact and manipulate approximately ten minors. He is accused of instructing these minors to create explicit content and, in some cases, to inflict self-harm. Tragically, one minor was later found deceased in an incident believed to be connected to the suspect’s instructions during an online interaction.
