At Her Fiancé’s Grave, Pregnant Olesya Found a Phone — What She Saw Made Her Faint

The bus hissed to a stop at the village edge. Olesya stepped into the drizzle, one hand on her pregnant belly, the other gripping her coat. She was the only passenger to disembark. The driver offered a sympathetic glance before pulling away.

The village was quiet—bare trees, rain-slick branches, and the soft patter of droplets on her umbrella. Olesya walked in silence, lost in memories of Andrey: his laugh, his rough hands, the way he said her name like a secret.

Life before him had been hard—an orphanage, vocational school, night shifts at the metalworks. Then Andrey appeared, an engineer unafraid to get his hands dirty. He saw her, really saw her. Their bond grew over shared lunches and tired conversations. When she found out she was pregnant, he was ecstatic and proposed under the dim dorm lights. “I want you to meet my family,” he said. But Olesya hesitated, afraid of their judgment. Three months ago, Andrey left to visit them alone. “Just a few days,” he promised. He never came back. Rumors swirled—he’d abandoned her, couldn’t handle it. Olesya refused to believe it. Then she overheard the truth: he had been mugged near a train station. He hadn’t survived. Now, she walked the cemetery path, chrysanthemums clutched in her hand. At his grave, she collapsed, tears spilling freely.

As the cold crept in, she realized her phone was missing. Searching for shelter, she spotted a nearby mausoleum. She slipped inside, murmuring, “I just need to rest.”

Then—buzzing. A phone, not hers, vibrated on the stone floor.

She answered. A man’s voice: “Hi! That’s my phone—I lost it yesterday.”

“I’m in the cemetery,” she said weakly.

“I was working there. Must’ve dropped it.”

“I wasn’t feeling well…”

Her vision blurred. The phone slipped from her hand.

Then—darkness.

I NOTICED SOMETHING ODD ABOUT THE BRIDE AT MY BEST FRIEND’S WEDDING AND DECIDED TO LIFT HER DRESS I was the groom’s childhood friend, and I was overjoyed to see him finally find happiness. His bride was walking down the aisle, and everything seemed like a fairytale: the stunning white dress, the long train, the flowers… But something felt off. Her walk seemed strange. It was as if she couldn’t move comfortably. I watched more closely as the bride approached the altar. Her steps were awkward, almost unsteady. Everyone around was immersed in the joyful atmosphere, but I couldn’t shake the unsettling feeling that something was wrong. As she drew nearer, one of the guests whispered a joke about how the bride seemed to be “floating” down the aisle. People chuckled softly, but I wasn’t laughing. Something was eating at me. And at the very moment when the bride was nearly at the altar, I stepped closer. My heart froze. I couldn’t ignore my instincts any longer. So, just as everyone expected her to stand beside the groom, I quickly approached and gently lifted the hem of her dress. The church fell silent, and everyone stood still. What I saw defied all logic.⬇Continues in the comments
