The cold rain poured down as a green sedan pulled onto the highway shoulder. A woman opened the door, swiftly dropping a fluffy white cat into a puddle before speeding away. Drenched and confused, the mother cat found her way to a soggy cardboard box sitting by the grass. Inside, her three shivering kittens cried out. She immediately began to lick them, trying desperately to keep them warm as cars rushed past, spraying water.

Then, a massive red semi-truck slowed to a halt. The driver, a kind-eyed man with a mustache, looked out his window in disbelief. Stepping into the downpour, he walked over to the roadside. Without hesitation, he scooped up the fragile family. Soon, the warm truck cab was filled with purrs. What started as a cruel abandonment turned into a beautiful rescue, bringing them all safely home.
